Welcome to my site. I am a mature student currently finishing my HND in Photography at South Lanarkshire College. I have always had an interest and a passion in photography since a very young age and decided to pursue this when I started my HNC in Photography in August 2019.
The photography work I enjoy most is Studio portraiture, Corporate photography, Documentary, Landscape and experimental photography although with photography being a passion I will shoot pretty much anything.
My inspiration is with the likes of Tim Hetherington, Robert Capa, Lynsey Addario, Don McCullin and Joao Silva, which has been the inspiration in my film photography, as well as Oscar Marzarolli whose exhibition I attended several times whist on at Street Level in Glasgow. I also attended what was Glasgow Caledonian University many years ago at night, and was taught by Jim Bamford, David Stanton and Iain Smart, all of whom have had a lasting impression on what I produce, and what I want to achieve going forward.
I assist a professional photographer from time to time to help with arranging workshops, collaborating with models, make up artists and hairdressers in order to provide a relaxed learning experience for the students, and also for myself to gain more experience.
Whilst completing my HNC, in November 2019, I was part of a team of students from the college, that were the photographers for The Green Gown Awards in Glasgow.
